Maryland natives Mo’Nique, Jessie T. Usher, and Nicole Ari Parker hit the big screen this weekend in “Almost Christmas.”

The movie is about Walter, played by Danny Glover, who invites his four grown children and the rest of his family to his house for Christmas, after the death of his wife.

The movie also stars Kimberly Elise, Omar Epps, John Michael Higgins, Gabrielle Union, J.B. Smoove, and Romany Malco.
