After last season’s critically acclaimed horror series was renewed, I kept asking myself.. “How would they continue the show?”

FOX has announced that Geena Davis, Alan Ruck, and the rest of the family from Season 1 will not come back.

Season 2 picks up with Father Ortega and Marcus Keane looking for cases. They come across an ex-child therapist (played by John Cho), who runs a halfway house off the coast of Seattle. One of his children gets possessed..and well… ::cue “Tubular Bells”::

The show is the next chapter in “The Exorcist” franchise. The film and book were based off a real life exorcism in Prince George’s County, Maryland
