He may not have won the trophy, but soul singer Luke Wade won the respect and praise of his celebrity mentors and fans on “The Voice,” and Wade says he is enjoying being on the road with his full band, No Civilians, and getting back to bringing his high-energy style of music to his fans across the country.

Luke recently joined the world famous Patti LaBelle at the “Dream Marches On” concert at Alabama State University Dunn-Oliver Acadome in Montgomery, AL on March 7th. LaBelle and Wade were there to commemorate and honor the 50th Anniversary of the Selma to Montgomery March.

Luke will release the second single from his album, “The River” on April 6th titled “As Long as She Knows”. About Luke Wade:
Growing up in the quiet little Texas town of Dublin seems a fateful beginning for a soul singer. The youngest of four children, a childhood bout with spinal meningitis proved nearly fatal, a paintball accident left him blind in one eye and some years later a severe heatstroke left him with amnesia and took him to the edge once again. Getting the proper equipment (be it https://propaintball.com/best-paintball-gloves/ or masks, or other items) could have helped with the second, the others were simply strokes of bad luck. Though these experiences inevitably influence Luke, his music remains eternally hopeful without an ounce of resignation.

About Luke on The Voice:
Fort Worth Texas Soul Singer Luke Wade ended up just shy of the Top 4 of NBC’s Emmy Award-winning musical-competition series “The Voice” Season 7. Luke remained in the competition at Universal Studios and throughout every episode into the finale this season. Luke was featured on The Today Show, the Ellen Show, Entertainment Tonight, E!, and many, many other nationally syndicated programs throughout his journey on the show. He was an early favorite to win and was “the face” of The Voice promos starting three weeks out of the competition which began on September 22nd and ended on December 16th, 2014. He managed a 4 chair turn in the Blind Audition and won the Battle Round, the Knockout Round, the Live Play-offs, the Top 12, Top 10, Top 8, and was eliminated at the Top 5 mark. Luke was invited back to compete for the Wild Card round, but failed to advance to The Top 4.
